For us, being healthy is more than just thinking about what’s good for your physical health, it’s thinking about your mental health as well. The two things are connected, for example, we know that chronic stress can have serious negative impacts on your body as well as your mood if not managed well.
That’s why it’s important to think about having a balanced routine that incorporates your different needs and wants. Establishing a routine can also help us feel grounded and give us structure and stability in challenging and changing times.
We have been supporting clients of all ages, levels and abilities with their own personal Fitness goals for over a decade! Stuck in a rut with your programme?
We create the gym environment in your home or outdoor space, so there’ll be no more sit-down machines or waiting around for available equipment. We integrate more primal, calisthenic, functional and boot camp style exercises into your plan. We believe the body hugely benefits from a variety of exercise and changing your normal workout pattern gives your body new stimulus to learn and adapt to.
We will always encourage you safely to push past your comfort zone. No more distractions or doing things you’re already good at! Just good honest training with REAL improvement!
Unused Gym Membership?
A gym will naturally accept your Direct Debit regardless of your attendance. Making a start can be difficult. You have the whole journey in front of you. We can support and treat you better than you treat yourself!
Anything you have ever achieved owes itself to discipline and commitment. Having something booked in your diary means that you WILL allow time for yourself. We understand you have a work and family life so we provide flexible appointment times. Our advice for a busy lifestyle is to structure a work-out into your week so that it becomes routine. Where there’s a will there’s a way!
Unsure of what to do when you walk into a gym?
The weights section in a Gym should not favour either gender, resistance training is for ALL! Girls CAN Lift! Weight Lifting boosts your immune system, enhances muscular and joint strength and increases metabolism! Lean On Me Personal Training caters for all ages and abilities. We give you the confidence to walk into any section of a gym and perform your training routine. We allow you to learn more about exercise and how your body works, rather than put you through a set of hoops and expect you to already know what you are doing.
We use the space in your house, garage or in Parks to build a creative gym environment. Many of our training ideas are interactive. When exercises are engaging and fun people tend to work harder!
Can you expect different results by doing the same thing?
We come across many clients that are continually fighting a battle against weaknesses such as

You will learn how to warm up properly so you are primed for training at your peak. We will also teach you different lifting techniques, how to lift heavier and perform more repetitions!
We also show you how to aid your body’s own recovery process providing you with a personalised cool down, stretch and foam rolling routine.
